Thanks for demonstrating why after 40 years in the business, I almost never hire someone with a Computer Science background to do software development. There is plenty of value in the academic study of the theories, but for actually building shippable software ... it is not what you need.

What you are demonstrating is religious adherence to an academic theory, and a lack of practical experience.

Said another way, if I were building bridges, I would hire Mechanical Engineers, not Material Scientists.
